Who We Are

01  Our Community

The Global Shapers Community is a global network of over 400 city-based hubs including Nairobi Hub, Kisumu Hub and the first Hub located in a refugee camp, Kakuma Hub, all located in Kenya.

The Global Shapers Community is an initiative of the World Economic Forum. It is a platform for young people to drive dialogue and action; and to influence the state of the world through engaging leaders in business, politics, academia and other sectors towards shaping global, regional and sectoral agendas.

02  Our Mission and Objective

Mission: Build a global community of outstanding young people committed to improving the state of the world.

Community Objectives: The Community has impact by catalyzing and enhancing, individually and collectively, fresh ideas and innovative solutions to the world’s most pressing challenges. Shapers are engaged in projects related to specific challenges identified by the local Hub and by the Global Shapers team headquartered in Geneva.
